If you’re pressed for space to organize your things and are discouraged by the high price of box store solutions, this Easy Up shelving unit could be the answer!

This is either a Do It Yourself kit or it can be assembled on site for you.

The basics: 

• The shelving unit is made of dimensional lumber and measures 8’ wide by 8’ tall and is 24” (27” overall) deep. 

• The maximum number of storage bins it can accommodate is twenty-four (24). 

• Using the specified bin this translates to approximately 83 cubic feet of space, efficiently arranged. 

The details: 

• The vertical framework and horizontal shelf supports are of 2”x 4”x 8’ studs.

• The shelves are made from 19/32” OSB plywood.

• 3” screws secure the verticals and horizontals where they meet.

• The shelving is secured to the horizontal supports with 1.5” screws. 

• Lateral supports are attached to prevent “racking”.

• To prevent tipping, appropriate measures are taken. 

• Each bin can be found at Lowes, item 44066.
